Ferns come in an amazing range of textures and growing habits and contrast beautifully with shade-loving perennials such as Hosts, Heucheras (Coral Bells), Liriope, Caladiums, and Farfugiums (Leopard Plant). And not all of them need to be stuck in a damp, dark corner, either. They thrive equally well in containers or in the ground and can be grown inside or outside. Let us introduce you to the world of Ferns!
