Fill in our contact form online, drop by our store, or call us anytime. During store business hours a human will answer or after hours you may leave a voicemail. We will call you within 1 business day to get initial information about your landscaping needs and to set an appointment with a designer.

Our designer will walk the property with you and take photos and measurements as appropriate. It is very helpful if you have a site survey that you can give to the designer at this time. The designer will ask questions about your objectives for the project, colors and plants you like or do not like, your time frame for installation, whether you want to do everything at once or in phases, and discuss your budget. If you have an event scheduled by which you want your project to be completed, please let the designer know. We will make every effort to meet your schedule objectives. If you have photos of properties you like, this can be helpful in communicating and fashioning an ideal design for your property. At the conclusion of this visit, the designer will determine the price of the design and set a date for presenting this to you. This will normally be one week after the initial visit.

The key to having a successful installation project is having a solid design that you are pleased with. Installation pricing is based on the design. Our crews use the final design document as our installation roadmap for performing the work. Our designer will take into consideration sun/shade, water flow, and how you plan to use the space in specifying hardscape and bed design and plant selection. If drainage issues are present, the designer will implement solutions that fit pleasingly with the look of the property. She will create a 2D site plan that shows hardscape, plants, drainage and lighting in their correct locations. From this the designer also prepares a project estimate that specifies all of the plants for the project (including type, variety, and size), all hardscape materials sizes and kind, all drainage materials, soils and amendments, any lighting, and any special features. Each line item is priced so you can see exactly what is going into your project. The cost of the design varies with the complexity of the project and typically costs between $500 and $2000.

Our designer will present the proposed design and budget estimate at your second meeting. She will go over it with you in detail so we can be sure we are meeting your objectives. One set of revisions is free. We will do additional revisions at your request, but there are additional design charges for such. When you are happy with the design you sign the project agreement and submit the deposit. The cost of your installation will vary depending on the complexity of your project. Installations usually range from $4,000 to $150,000 or more.

Once we have received the deposit, our operations manager will call you with a tentative schedule. We will prepare for the project by ordering materials and procuring plants. Because of weather, delays on projects ahead of you, and unexpected problems with materials availability, your start date may move. Our operations manager will contact you about a week before the start date to let you know when to expect us, and again the day before starting.

Our crew will arrive on the start date and work through the project in an orderly process. Some materials may arrive ahead of the crew, but we will keep you informed if this happens. Projects can be as short as one day and as long as a month. Our designer will come to your site as necessary to communicate with the crew. There will be a crew leader on site of who can answer your questions, however, the designer will remain your primary contact and you should reach out to the designer if you want any changes or additions. Each day the crew will tidy up the site to minimize the disruption for you.
