OUR WEED CONTROL SERVICES
Nobody likes having weeds in their yard, but in North Texas they’re a big problem, particularly in the spring and fall. We offer a layered approach to controlling weeds in your lawn and beds.​
The most basic strategy is to get your lawn thick and to mulch your beds. This doesn’t give space for as many weeds to grow.

The second defense is to apply Corn Gluten Meal as an organic pre-emergent to your lawn. This breaks the weed cycle by interfering with seed germination.
​
Thirdly, we use organic post-emergent weed killers to selectively kill your weeds. Unlike most chemical weed killers, organic weed killers don’t harm you or your soil.

​Finally, we can hand-pull any remaining weeds from your property. And, unlike many of our competitors, our associates know the difference between a weed and a desirable plant, so we don’t weed whack your favorite perennials.​​
By the way, we never use “weed and feed” products. These are chemical products that can not only harm your soil, but can even kill your bushes and trees.
