About the event

Squashes and Cucumbers both belong to the Cucurbit family and both thrive in our warm weather. By mid-April we are safely passed any chance of frost, which means you can start planting these summer veggies. We'll talk about how to ward off the dreaded cucumber beetle, squash bugs and squash vine borers that can destroy your plants and provide our best tips on how to get the most from your crop. And of course, we'll update you on the overall progress of our demonstration garden.
