Lava Sand

Lava Sand is a natural soil amendment that is volcanic in origin.  When the lava cooled it formed millions of tiny bubbles or pores that allows it to retain water.  It's different from sedimentary sand because it retains its sharp edges and texture.  Sedimentary sands have more rounded texture and are made up of more solid quartz granules which do not have the same effect.
 
Helps "break up" clay soils by separating the microscopic clay particles
Helps sandy soils by its moisture retention ability
Is inert
Has neutral pH
Helps make nutrients in the soil more available to root systems
Has paramagnetism quality that increases plant vitality and growth.
Lava sand can be applied to all turf grasses and plants (lawns, trees, shrubs, annuals, perennials, roses, vegetables, and more).
