• The outer beds were filled with monochrome Monkey grass and Asian Jasmine groundcovers.

• Long, monochrome hedges obscured the front of the house.

• Straight lines and squared off shrubs created a blocky look.

The backyard included a pool and patio.

• Marshall Grain built a retaining wall around the pool that was planted and enhanced with recessed lighting.

• A flagstone pattering using dark and light stones creates depth and interest.
