About The Event
Join us in person outdoors or follow us on Facebook live as we present "Buried Treasures: Onions, Potatoes & Garlic," the second in our multi-part series of demonstrations on how to plant, tend and harvest all your spring vegetables using our recommended organic methods. In this episode, we'll demonstrate how to plant seed potatoes, onion slips, and garlic. You'll learn about bed preparation, plant spacing, fertilization and lots more. Then follow us throughout the spring as we show you how to bring them to harvest. We'll also add more edibles to our demonstration garden. As we progress through the series, we'll tell you how to control pests and diseases, when and how to harvest your bounty, and what to do with all that freed-up space after harvest.
Please note: This class will be held outdoors in our demonstration garden and follow recommended social distancing guidelines. It will also be streamed live on Facebook and recorded for later viewing. Watch it live at:
