About the event

Asparagus is one of the first plants to greet us in springtime, sending up their tender shoots as soon as the soil temperature reaches around 50°F.  Although it takes two to three years to begin producing, once established, it will feed your family for decades! While you're waiting, enjoy its ferny foliage as an excellent ornamental. You'll learn the natural, organic way to care for your plants so that your family can enjoy healthier produce.
