AZATROL
The active ingredient in Azatrol is Azadirachtin. A derivative of Neem, Azadirachtin acts as a potent anti-feedant and an insect growth regulator that kills more than 600 species of insects. While it is moderately toxic to fish and other aquatic life, it is considered safe for pollinators. This is because Neem oil mainly works on insects that eat the foliage of your plants. The Neem either repels them because of its bitter taste or kills them from ingesting the treated leaves. Beneficial insects, like ladybugs and pollinators do not eat the leaves of plants so they are not generally not harmed as long as they are not directly sprayed with the oil.
