Each mini-bale of barley straw treats up to 1,000 gallons of water. Place the bale on the surface of the pond, preferably near a waterfall or filter outlet. Do not allow the bale to sink. If it does, remove it and allow it to dry for 24 hours, then put it back in the pond.
Allow 1 month for the barley straw to take effect. After 5 months, place a new bale in the pond, and after 6 months remove the old bale. Use all year round to keep your pond clean and fresh. Includes cork float.
