Kelp is the richest single source of trace minerals. Kelp meal is also very high in potash, as well as more than 70 other minerals, plant growth regulators, vitamins, hormones, and enzymes. These essential nutrients stimulate microbial activity and create a strong supply of naturally chelated nutrients.
Use in seedling mixes and potting soils to stimulate root development, stop transplant shock, boost growth, prevent fungal problems, and alleviate stress caused by fluctuations in temperature extremes. In soil, kelp creates a beneficial bond with nitrogen and phosphorous, releases locked-up minerals like calcium and magnesium, and is essential to the maturity of root crops, coles and roses. Use once a year as a fertilizer supplement, when preparing planting areas.
Water thoroughly after application. Wash off any fertilizer that comes into contact with the leaves of your plants.
