Annual. These majestic plants make a lovely backdrop in the fl ower garden. The dramatic burgundy plumes produce beige seeds that are very high in protein and other nutrients. Cook like rice for a side dish or pop like popcorn! You can pick leaves when very young for salads and steaming. This packet plants five 10 foot rows.
