Castor Bean Impala
Ricinus comunis
Tender perennial. Beautiful, large, bronze-red leaves and scarlet seed heads create a dramatic, tropical effect in the garden. Perennial in USDA zones 8-10; otherwise grown as an annual. Deer resistant. CAUTION: All plant parts are poisonous, especially seeds which are extremely toxic to children and animals. If ingested, seek medical attention immediately.
